Junior Golf Summer Camp

Our Junior Golf Summer Camp is designed to introduce young golfers to the game in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Whether your child is picking up a golf club for the first time or already has some experience, camp focuses on building confidence, developing fundamental skills, and creating a lifelong love of golf.

Ages: 5–12 years old. We also welcome some of our little golfers ages 3–4, subject to instructor approval. If your child is under 5, please contact us before registering so we can determine if camp is a good fit. Parents or guardians are welcome to stay and provide a little extra support for our youngest campers if needed.

New to golf and ages 12–16? Throughout the summer, we offer beginner workshops specifically for older juniors who are new to the game. These small-group sessions provide an introduction to golf in a comfortable, age-appropriate setting without the full camp experience.

No Clubs? No Problem! We provide everything your child needs to participate.

Camp is held on the driving range, putting green, and short game practice area at Muskoka Highlands Golf Links. Camp does not take place on the golf course.

Throughout the week, campers receive hands-on instruction in all aspects of the game, including:

  • Full swing fundamentals
  • Chipping and pitching
  • Putting and green reading
  • Golf etiquette and rules
  • Fun games, competitions, and team challenges

Our instructors create a positive and encouraging environment where every golfer can improve at their own pace while building confidence, developing new skills, and making new friends.

Ready for the Next Step?

Summer Camp is the starting point in our junior golf pathway. As golfers build their skills and confidence, they can progress into Game Ready, our group program designed to help juniors transition from learning the fundamentals to playing the game.

For experienced junior golfers ready for more individualized development and competitive preparation, Tour Ready provides private one-on-one coaching tailored to each player's goals.

Start with Camp. Get Game Ready. Become Tour Ready.

Cancellations, Registration Changes & Rain Days

If you need to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to your child’s camp registration, please submit your request by email to keith@lakesidelinksgolfacademy.com.

Many of our camps fill well in advance and often have waitlists. Providing as much notice as possible allows us to offer your child’s spot to another participant.

Cancellation Schedule

  • 21 or more days before camp: Eligible for a full refund.
  • 7–20 days before camp: Eligible for a full credit toward another week of camp (subject to availability) or private lessons with Lakeside Links Golf Academy during the same calendar year.
  • Less than 7 days before camp: No refunds or credits will be issued.

Weather & Rain Days

Our camps are held entirely outdoors, so weather is part of the experience! Camp will continue as scheduled in light rain, and participants should come prepared for changing weather conditions.

In the event of severe weather, thunderstorms, or conditions that make it unsafe to continue, camp will be cancelled for the day.

Rain Day Make-Ups

If a camp day is cancelled due to weather, your child can make up the missed day on another camp day at any point throughout the summer.

Simply send us a quick text at 705-204-8946 in advance to let us know your child will be attending as a rain day make-up.

Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations. Cancelled camp days are compensated through our rain day make-up policy.
